Advancing global action to minimize extreme AI risks

The International Dialogues on AI Safety (IDAIS), hosted by the Safe AI Forum (SAIF), brings together experts from around the world to build international collaboration on AI risks.

SAIF is an independent organization initially incubated at FAR.AI. We list the historical events conducted while SAIF was incubated at FAR.AI; for the latest events, see the IDAIS website.

Safe AI Forum (SAIF)

The inaugural IDAIS-Oxford dialogue was developed in collaboration with Fynn Heide and Conor McGurk, who went on to co-found the Safe AI Forum (SAIF). SAIF initially operated as a fiscally sponsored project of FAR.AI, spinning out towards into an independent entity in the latter half of 2024.

Given our two organizations’ overlapping missions, the teams remain in close contact in relevant areas. In addition to continuing the IDAIS program, SAIF conducts research and provides advisory services to other organizations focused on international AI cooperation.
