Information automatically collected

There is some information like your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics that is collected automatically when you visit our website. This information may be used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information.

We protect our database by means of various technical and procedural measures, and we restrict access to your information by unauthorized persons. We require our third party service providers to comply with confidentiality requirements and to not use your personal information for marketing purposes without your consent.

Information you provide to us

In the course of using far.ai, we may collect your email addresses for our mailing list (when users voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter) and payment information for donations.

We do not sell names or other personal information about our far.ai users and subscribers to mass marketers or any other entity, nor do we engage in exchanges of such information. We do not share donor information with other organizations.

Online donations are processed through a third party service provider and we do not retain, store, sell or share any of your credit card, payment-related, or other personal information.

How Do We Use The Information We Collect?

Any of the information we collect may be used in the following ways:

  • We use anonymized analytical cookies to count the number of website users and understand how users navigate the website. This helps us improve the way our website works, for example, by ensuring users can find what they are looking for easily.
  • To send periodic emails and newsletters (only for users who have explicitly subscribed)

When does FAR AI, Inc. use end user information from third parties?

We do not collect end user data from third parties. The only third-party services we use are:

  • MailChimp for newsletter management

When does FAR AI, Inc. use customer information from third parties?

We do not collect or use customer information from third parties.

How Do We Use Your Email Address?

By submitting your email address on our website, you agree to receive emails from us through MailChimp. You can cancel your participation in any of these email lists at any time by clicking the opt-out link or following the unsubscribe instructions provided in any email we send.

We are committed to permission-based communication and preventing the spread of spam or other forms of unsolicited emails. If you have received an email in error, you may remove your information from our database by requesting to unsubscribe at hello@far.ai.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We do not store your personal information directly on our servers. Any information collected through our website is handled and stored by our trusted third-party service providers:

  • Analytics data is stored by Google Analytics according to their security practices and privacy policy
  • Email addresses for newsletter subscriptions are stored and protected by MailChimp according to their security practices and privacy policy

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites.
