Seoul Alignment Workshop 2026
Taking place in Seoul on Monday, July 6, this workshop is part of the ongoing Alignment Workshop series, following prior gatherings in San Diego, Singapore, Vienna, New Orleans, San Francisco, and London. Bringing together global leaders in academia and industry, our goal is to deepen our collective understanding of the potential risks from Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and collaboratively explore effective strategies for mitigating these risks.
The Alignment Workshop series convenes top machine learning researchers, AI practitioners, and policy experts to discuss and debate critical issues in AI alignment. The goal is to enable participants to better understand the technical and societal risks associated with advanced AI systems, and to identify promising directions for research and coordination. Core topics typically include model evaluations, interpretability, robustness, scalable oversight, and AI governance.
