Boston Nyer is the Chief Operating Officer at FAR.AI. Previously, he co-founded Juniper Ventures, a venture fund focused on reducing AI risks. He served as Head of Business Operations and Treasurer at GiveWell, where he managed funds totaling over $350M annually. He was COO and CPO at Momentum, a behavioral science and AI-driven company that helps nonprofits raise more money. At Equalize Health, he held roles including COO, CFO, and Interim CEO, scaling the organization from 11 to 37 people across four countries and leading an acquisition by Bill Gates-backed Global Health Labs. He co-founded BURN, the largest clean cooking company globally with more than 3,000 employees, and a Time100 Most Influential Company of 2024. He remains on the company’s Board of Directors and Audit & Finance Committee. He holds engineering degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder (M.S. in Civil) and the University of Rochester (B.S. in Biomedical).
