Karolina Walęcik is the Head of Business Operations at FAR.AI, building the systems and frameworks that enable teams to execute on organizational priorities and scale impact. She oversees grant making operations, grants compliance, risk management, knowledge and organizational learning systems, and impact tracking. Previously, she served as Global Head of Social Impact Operations & Grant making at BlackRock, where she built and scaled the group’s operational infrastructure and co-led the deployment of a $50M COVID-19 relief initiative. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, with a focus on global governance and sustainable development, and a Master’s in English Studies from The Catholic University of Lublin, where her thesis explored AI’s role in society. Her experience spans policy advocacy at Open Society Foundations, as well as program design and project management across sectors, with a recent focus on leveraging AI for social good.
